Ramiscal Equitan Advisors team attended the Fil-Am Community of Hampton Roads gathering in the the Old Dominion University Campus on December 2nd. This unity effort was initiated by former Poet Laureate of Virginia and ODU Professor, Dr. Luisa Igloria with the goal of creating more awareness about the Fil-Am contributions to the university. ODU's Fil-Am Community including faculty, admin, staff, and GTAs, students especially ODU FASA (Filipino-American Studen Association) members/officers attended the event. Our very own Ben Equitan who spoke at the event, expressed his excitement to future partnerships and collaborations with the ODU Fil-Am Community.
